With Valentine's Day around the corner I decided to post a chocolate assignment I had the pleasure to style last November with Kristin Teig as the photographer for Zest Magazine.
The opener: one of my favorite things to do is to "set the scene" to entice the reader and with chocolate there is alway the opportunity for a nice messy melty styling .
Hazelnut chocolate tarte! great combination! I have made this a few times since November and it is now in my "recipe box"... so easy and delicious!
I love styling chocolate as it is great in its many forms: melted, solid, cooked.... It can be temperamental but if you treat it carefully the results are just so rewarding.
not only do I love styling chocolate but I also love "instagraming" about it .
Oh! and did I mentioned that when I shoot with Kristin I get the best assistant: Olga! and we all know that chocolate is lethal to dogs... thus my explaining to Olga that chocolate is off limits.
